AI-Assisted Private 5G: From Planning to Production in Hours

Private 5G adoption depends not only on network performance, but also on making planning, deployment, and operations easier for enterprise customers.

At Communications Day (CommsDay) Summit Sydney 2026, the CloudRAN.AI (part of Cloudnet.ai) joined Maser Australia to present “From Planning & Deployment to Production: AI-Assisted Private 5G in Hours.”

The session explored how AI-assisted planning, repeatable deployment workflows, and partner-ready private 5G architecture can help reduce complexity and accelerate enterprise private network rollouts.

Smart mining: adapting to dynamic environments

In mining environments, terrain shifts, vehicles move, and remote operations require low latency and high uplink capacity.

The smart mining scenario showed how AI-assisted private 5G can help adapt network plans to changing conditions while supporting remote operations, fatigue monitoring, and vehicle-mounted CPE mobility.

Offshore operations: solving the uplink bottleneck

Offshore sites can generate large volumes of camera and sensor data from remote locations.

By combining AI at the edge with private 5G connectivity, only essential insights need to be transmitted back, helping reduce uplink pressure while supporting remote monitoring.

Ranley: launching a new AI-assisted operations capability

CloudRAN.AI also introduced Ranley: The Enterprise Operations Brain, a new AI-assisted capability designed to support private 5G operations after deployment.

Ranley brings validated telecom knowledge into practical workflows, including expert Q&A, auto-documentation, solution design, and stakeholder-ready presentation generation.

Megrez AI: from requirements to network plan

With Megrez AI, users can describe deployment requirements in natural language — for example, planning a network for a large warehouse with strict latency needs.

Megrez then helps translate those requirements into a deployable private 5G network plan, including coverage design.

The goal is to make network planning faster, more accessible, and less dependent on scarce RF expertise.

Private 5G is capable. Deployment is still the bottleneck.

Private 5G can deliver dedicated coverage, predictable performance, and high-capacity connectivity.

But many projects still depend on manual surveys, custom configuration, and expert troubleshooting.

CloudRAN.AI’s focus is on making private 5G faster to plan, easier to deploy, and more predictable to operate.

From planning to production

For operators, system integrators, and enterprise partners, the next step is making private 5G easier to evaluate, deploy, and operate.

CloudRAN.AI is focused on helping partners move from one-off deployments toward repeatable, AI-assisted private 5G workflows.

Thank you to Communications Day (CommsDay) Summit Sydney 2026 and Maser Australia for the opportunity to join the discussion.
