MWC Barcelona 2026 Recap: What We Announced—and What’s Next

From “AI Talk” to AI That Ships
MWC Barcelona is where ideas get tested in public—and this year was a key milestone for Cloudnet.ai and CloudRAN.AI. We used the week to show something simple—and overdue:
AI in telecom and enterprise is moving beyond “chat.”
The next leap is systems that execute—governed, auditable, and deployable.
At Cloudnet.ai, we build AI-native enterprise systems. Through CloudRAN.AI, we bring deployment-ready private networks into the same outcome-driven mindset. At MWC, we presented one integrated direction: agentic execution on the software side, and production-grade private networks on the infrastructure side—with real partners, real milestones, and clear paths to rollout.

What we heard across MWC: the shift from demos to deployment
Across MWC this year, the industry conversation felt noticeably more practical. The center of gravity is moving from “AI features” to AI that can be deployed inside real operations—with clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and controls that teams can live with.
In parallel, private 5G conversations are maturing too: fewer “pilot-only” discussions, more focus on deployment speed, cost-to-serve, spectrum realities, and partner-led delivery.
The common thread is execution: buyers want solutions that don’t just look good in a booth—they ship, integrate, and hold up under real-world constraints.

What we showed at MWC
Below is a recap of our key announcements during the show, plus what’s coming next.
Mission-critical communications built into Private 5G
In high-stakes environments, “best effort” communications is not a strategy. We launched Integrated MCX to make mission-critical voice/video/data a network-engineered capability of Private 5G deployments—priority-by-design, not an app that competes with everything else when the network is busy.
Firecell partnership: private 5G that’s easier to deploy and easier to justify
Private 5G adoption isn’t blocked by performance—it’s blocked by rollout complexity and total cost. Our partnership with Firecell is focused on enabling faster, more cost-competitive private 5G rollouts for system integrators by expanding radio hardware options, with architectures optimized for both efficient outdoor coverage and complex indoor environments—so more deployments pencil out and ship faster.
Agentic BSS: governed autonomy for telecom operations
Most “AI in BSS” stops at answering questions. At Cloudnet.ai, our focus is execution: turning intent into controlled, auditable actions across BSS workflows—with approvals, traceability, and guardrails by design. During MWC, we published our Agentic BSS direction and demonstrated what “governed autonomy” looks like in real operational flows. (Whitepaper coming next.)
Momentum & delivery: Australia milestones with Bai Communications and Maser + Kimi partnership for Agentic Enterprise Workflows
MWC week wasn’t only about new ideas—it was about removing barriers to adoption.
In Australia, we advanced real-world delivery:
With BAI Communications, we validated Polaris 10 in a live environment at the University of Canberra, focused on deployment readiness and practical performance.
With Maser Australia, we expanded local availability and support so Australian partners can source and deploy private 5G infrastructure with clearer procurement paths and in-country engagement and support.
On the enterprise systems side, Cloudnet.ai entered into a partnership with Kimi to explore and validate how advanced LLMs can power agentic enterprise experiences—moving beyond “chat” toward governed execution across real workflows.
We’ll integrate Kimi into selected workflows and support global enterprise delivery through field deployment and system integration, based on results and market demand.
One story across two halves of the booth
At MWC, we intentionally presented Cloudnet.ai and CloudRAN.AI side-by-side:
Cloudnet.ai: AI-native enterprise systems and Agentic BSS—governed execution across telecom and enterprise workflows.
CloudRAN.AI: Deployment-ready Private 5G and radio access solutions—with a roadmap extending into mission-critical communications (MCX) and partner-led delivery.
Different layers. One direction: from tooling to outcomes.
What’s next
Post-MWC, we’re moving fast on two tracks:
Follow-ups with teams we met in Barcelona—deeper demos, evaluations, and deployment planning.
Publishing deeper materials—including the upcoming Agentic BSS whitepaper, plus additional solution collateral for partners.
If you met us at MWC (or wish you did), we’d be happy to continue the conversation.
